OVERVIEW
my old portfolio looked like a template because it was one. this rebuild is the opposite: paper textures, real objects, my actual taste — a site that reads more like a scrapbook than a case-study deck. i art-directed it and built it in framer over three days, with claude as the pair of hands, correcting a hundred small things until nothing looked digital.
CONTEXT
My old site was dull. Nothing was organized, and the worst part: it didn't feel like me at all. It looked like a template because it was one (well kinda). I wanted something handmade: paper, objects. with my actual taste!

REFLECTION
the art direction was the easy part because i knew the taste i wanted. the hard part was consistency: the second something looked digital or templated, it broke the spell. But building with an AI agent meant a hundred small corrections instead of a few big ones.
if i did it again i'd lock the visual language and the navigation before building any pages, instead of discovering them page by page.
also, it is clutch when vibecoding happens with ui/ux design with ai | highly recommend on this
always: finding the quickest way to fail, then reiterate | me focusing on that one detail edit does not matter, remember 80/20 rule
